What’s the Startups Showcase?
After its roaring success last year, the Startups Showcase competition returned to World Summit AI 2024 on 09 – 10 October. We’re on the hunt for the most exciting, innovative and thought-provoking emerging tech to showcase and pitch their next-generation solutions to a phenomenal audience of international AI experts and an impressive panel of judges. That’s where our community’s superstar startups come in.
Shortlisted startups will join four other companies taking to the stage in our Startups Showcase session. They’ll each have ten minutes to pitch their venture to a panel of expert judges, and five minutes to take part in a Q&A.
The winner of the Startups Showcase will be announced during our closing session at the summit – the perfect way to celebrate another incredible year at WSAI.

Entry requirements & the fine print
- Entries close at midnight, Friday 14 June
- Shortlisted applicants will be notified and announced on Friday 28 June
- The Startups Showcase winner, selected by the judges, will be announced on the Main Stage at the end of the summit
- If you’re one of the five shortlisted startups, the CEO or Founder of your startup must be able to join us in person in Amsterdam on 09 and 10 October
- To qualify as an early stage startup, you must have been incorporated for less than 2 years and have received less than $2 million in funding.
All applications are screened. So if this criteria doesn’t apply, your application will be politely rejected.
