NOTE: Capacity in the Centre Stage hall will be limited throughout the event and places will be allocated on a first-come first-serve basis. Come early!

Badge Pickup

Please bring your e-ticket with you to collect your badge and remember to bring a form of photo identification with you on the day.

❗Please make sure you complete your registration before the event i.e fill out all the fields required in your ticket order such as company type or country – If your registration is incomplete, it will delay your registration process on the day. If you have booked multiple tickets, make sure to assign your ticket(s) before the event i.e add a name and email address, or we won’t be able to print a badge for you or your colleagues❗

World AI Week

World Summit AI is part of World AI Week, a series of cutting-edge business, science, tech and networking events taking place across Amsterdam from the 10th to 14th October. Make sure you book for each event individually. All events have limited space, and must be registered for in advance here

AI For Good Impact Sessions (Pre-booking required)

A 45 minute hands-on ideation in a small group to define the problem, deliverables and data needed to crowdsource an AI for Good Challenge that will be solved by the global AI engineering community of FruitPunch AI.

Travel Information

Free Shuttle Buses

Free shuttle busses from Amsterdam Central to Taets Art and Event Park from bus stop: Lovers Rondvaarten, H3 | Prins Hendrikkade (300m walk from Amsterdam Central Station)

There are multiple ways to get to Taets (including taxi, trainferry and Uber) however, we are also offering a limited number of free shuttle buses on a FIRST COME FIRST BOARD basis! Please aim for the EARLIEST departure time possible to get a seat. Seats are NOT guaranteed.

Please note that plenary access will CLOSE at 9.25am, after this time you will be unable to access plenary until the next break at 11.30am.

Morning Shuttles
Busses are scheduled every 10 minutes between 6:50am and 9:00am on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th October. To arrive at Taets in time for registration and the opening plenary, we recommend taking the 8:15 bus or earlier.

Afternoon Shuttles
Wednesday 12th October – Busses are scheduled every 15 minutes between 5:00pm and 8:00pm from Taets Art and Event Park to Amsterdam Central.
Thursday 13th October – Busses are scheduled every 15 minutes between 4:00pm and 7:15pm from Taets Art and Event Park to Amsterdam Central.

All busses are clearly branded with the World Summit AI (WSAI) Logo, and you will be met by a host person at Amsterdam Central Station directing you to the busses.


Taets Art & Event Park is near Zaandam train station. Several other buses drive between the station and the Hembrugterrein. For Taets take the smaller ‘buurtbus’ 312 which will take you to the Hemkade entrance of the terrain, and the entrance of Taets, in less than 10 minutes.

Arriving by Public Transport

Zaandam train station is 2.8km from the Taets Art & Event Park, which is approximately a 35 minute walk. There are frequent taxi services available from Zaandam train station, and Public Transport options. Click here for more information directly from the Taets Art & Event Park website.


There are numerous local taxi services that operate in the Amsterdam region, all of whom can bring you directly to the Zaandam region.

Bicycle (OV-fiets)

At the train station, you can rent a public transport bicycle. This will take you to the terrain in less than 10 minutes. For bicycle storage, follow the city centre exit and take the escalator down and turn left.– From the bicycle storage, cross the provincial road and turn left behind the station
– After approximately 200m, you will cross under the road, after which you turn left. Follow the cycling path to the right and continue on provincial road until you reach the water. Turn left and after approximately 50 metres you will see the entrance to the Hembrugterrein to your left. Inside the terrain, the Taets Art & Event Park is on your right.

Health & Safety/COVID Information

Face masks are not mandatory in the Netherlands, with the exception of wearing one in airports and on planes. You are encouraged to observe social distancing and to please use the hand sanitiser stations located throughout the venue.

There are no coronavirus-related restrictions for entering the Netherlands for travellers who live in the EU/Schengen area or in a country participating in the EU travel rules scheme. The EU entry ban applies to other travellers who live outside the EU/Schengen area, but there are some exceptions. These exceptions include if you come from a safe country, or you have proof of vaccination or proof of recovery that meets the requirements. (Please note that there are specific requirements relating to proof of vaccination, its validity and booster requirements after 2 doses – click here for specific information that is extremely important to read to ensure you are able to enter the Netherlands.
