World Summit AI 2021 FAQ’s

Following the announcement from the Dutch Government on 14 September, travellers from the UK and USA will no longer be required to quarantine on arrival to Amsterdam. All fully vaccinated business travellers who are attending World Summit AI must follow the guidelines below and check the latest travel guidelines for your country here.
Please ensure you prepare to travel with the following:
2.Negative Covid Test – you’ll need either a negative PCR test result from less than 48 hours before departure or a negative antigen test result from less than 24 hours before. You may need to fill in a short health declaration form stating you have no symptoms, but often this is covered by the airline.

In line with the current Dutch Government restrictions all attendees will be required to be provide evidence of a negative PCR test and/or proof of vaccination certificate. Information on how to obtain your certificate can be found here

I’m travelling from outside of the EU? What do I need to do to travel?
Please refer to your government’s website for travel information, test requirements and any other documentation or actions needed to enter Netherlands and return home with the relevant tests.
Do I need to be vaccinated?
Yes. Proof of full vaccination is currently required of residents travelling from very high-risk countries in order to enter the Netherlands.
Is this likely to change in the near future?
Travel restrictions are constantly under review by government authorities, on this basis there is no 100% guarantee. These set of exemption measures are however designed to support business and are in place to allow safe and managed entry to the Netherlands from all countries while there are still ongoing restrictions in place for non-essential travel.

How do I get my COVID19 test sorted for returning home?
There are several test sites close to the Beurs van Berlage venue and within the city centre.

Not a problem, Our World Summit AI, Intelligent Health or TMinus30 Amsterdam 2021 team will help you as much as possible – but also do use your government’s and chosen transport providers website for further clarification on travel information.

Registration is open from 16:00 – 20:00

Remember to bring your e-ticket and a form of photo identification with you to collect your badge.
In line with Dutch government, all attendees will be required to show a COVID Pass, with a negative test result, proof of vaccination or proof of recovery.
People who live in The Netherlands can present these using CoronaCheck, however other country passes, such as NHS for the United Kingdom, will also be accepted.
Alternatively you can complete this form as your covid vaccine declaration.
We strongly recommend you print your paperwork for speed passes through security on the day.

COVID TEST SITES
Local testing location can be found 2 min walk from the Beurs Van Berlage:
Damrak 243, 1012 ZJ Amsterdam, Netherlands
Be sure to arrive early at the venue as all attendees must be covid pass checked, registered and through security (including bag checks) by 09:00am. The open session starts promptly at 9:30am, you don’t want to miss it!
FOR ONE YEAR ONLY, we’ve scaled back our AV budget, especially so we can provide FREE onsite Catering throughout the summit. Catering includes morning and afternoon breaks, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.
